 7 But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers. 8 And above all things, have fervent love for one another, for "love will cover a multitude of sins." 9 Be hospitable to one another without grumbling. 10 As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 11 If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Each member of the body of Christ has been given a spiritual gift from God. As good stewards, we must use these gifts responsibly. When the unique spiritual gifts that God has given His followers are collectively used in a responsible manner, we are able to best manage all that the Lord has bestowed upon us and glorify His name!
As a result of sharing a common vision and goals, most notably the desire to find innovative ways to share the Gospel and give praise to our Creator who has given us new life, Overseer, Lei with Covenants of Realized Enlightenment (CORE) and Overseer, David with The Ministry of Eternal Fulfillment (MOEF) opted to work collectively to form Stewards of God - a ministry focused on serving the Lord. |
About Overseer, Lei and Overseer, David
Both Overseer, Lei and Overseer, David have obtained a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology and have worked in various settings (i.e., hospitals, clinics, universities, schools, etc.) with a vast array of populations, from children and families, young adults, elderly nursing home residents, individuals who have suffered from traumatic brain injury, to the severely mentally ill. Over the years they have seen how physical and emotional suffering can leave people feeling emotionally “paralyzed” – feeling as though they are without purpose and that their life is meaningless. Despite man’s attempts to utilize various secular means to assist in alleviating such suffering, many people still continue to experience feelings of emptiness and great sorrow. It is this very issue that became more apparent to the Overseers with each passing year.
Upon experiencing the Lord’s saving grace, both Overseer, Lei and Overseer, David opted to leave their clinical practice and devote their lives to sharing the word of the Lord with others, for it is He who is the true curative factor. They have also been ordained as ministers by Saint Luke Evangelical Christian Ministries.
While Overseer, Lei and Overseer, David both have separate ministries, they have come together to form Stewards of God, an online Christian counseling ministry to assist others in strengthening their identity in Christ. In addition to offering Biblically based Christian counseling, the site also has Christian podcasts for all to listen to that offers discussion of scripture, prayer, and showcases contemporary Christian music.
The ministry work has also led to the development of a book that the Overseers have co-authored entitled “Hope, Healing & Transformation: Strengthening Your Identity In Christ” The book is focused on assisting individuals with learning to transform one’s negative core beliefs and alleviate emotional suffering by integrating God’s truth in every day life. It is a great resource for Pastors, Christian counselors, support group leaders, and others who engage in counseling and spiritual guidance.
