About Stewards of God

Serving for God's Glory

But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers. And above all things, have fervent love for one another, for "love will cover a multitude of sins." Be hospitable to one another without grumbling. As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen. - 1 Peter 4:7-11

About the Stewards of God ministry

Each member of the body of Christ has been given spiritual gifts from God. As good stewards, we must use these gifts responsibly for the glory of God. When the unique spiritual gifts that God has given His followers are collectively used in a responsible manner, we are able to best manage all that the Lord has bestowed upon us and bring honor to His name!

As a result of sharing a common vision and goal, most notably the desire to share the Gospel and give praise to our Creator who has given us new life, David and Lei opted to work collectively to form Stewards of God - a ministry focused on utilizing the spiritual gifts given by our Lord Jesus Christ to serve and spread the message of salvation to others.

Their ministry work has led to the development of Christian literature, including a book entitled Hope, Healing & Transformation: Strengthening Your Identity In Christ”.  This workbook is focused on assisting individuals with learning to transform one’s negative core beliefs and alleviate emotional suffering by integrating God’s truth in every day life.  The workbook is a great resource for Pastors, Christian counselors, support group leaders, and others who engage in counseling and spiritual guidance.

Another resource that David and Lei have authored is a free downloadable booklet entitled, "The Five R's For A Healthy Journey Through Grief". The booklet provides information on the process of grief, signs to be aware of, and practical strategies to assist you through your time of suffering. Click here to download the free booklet.

In addition to sharing the Gospel through the Christian literature they have authored, Saturday nights are spent sharing the Gospel with all down on Fremont Street in Las Vegas, Nevada. If you happen to be in the area please feel free to join us!

Why We Know the Bible is the Word of God

You may be asking why is it so important to share the message of salvation if we do not know whether the Bible is true? How can we know the Bible is the divinely inspired word of God?

There is a host of evidential proofs that demonstrate the veracity of the Bible. Here are just a few:

The Bible is the only prophetic religious text with hundreds of prophecies that have already been fulfilled

Prophecies about Jesus Christ made hundreds of years prior to His birth

  • Jesus would be from the lineage of King David (Isaiah 9:7; Jeremiah 23:5-6);
  • Jesus would be born in Bethlehem (Micah 5:2);
  • Jesus’ hands and feet would be pieced – predicted 700 years before crucifixion was used as punishment (Psalm 22:16);
  • People would gamble for Jesus’ garments (Psalm 22:18).

Prophecies about Israel made hundreds of years prior to its restoration as a nation

  • The Lord would bring back the exiled people of Israel to their homeland (Isaiah 49:13-17; Ezekiel 34:13);
  • Israel will no longer be two (Judah & Israel) but will be restored as one (Ezekiel 37:21-22);
  • Jerusalem will be the center of turmoil (Zechariah 12:3).

The accuracy of the Bible has been proven through archaeological findings

  • Many of the cities, nations and people groups indicated in the Bible still exist today;
  • Artifacts found by archeologists (including coins, remains of temples), as well as places, rivers, language, religion that have been uncovered validate what is documented in the Bible;
  • The Dead Sea Scrolls (which date back 200 to 100 B.C.) is evidence that the Old Testament was written and completed before Jesus’ birth, serving as further evidence that Old Testament prophecies could not have been written after Jesus’ birth.

Other non-biblical writings further validate Biblical events

  • Accounts from Jewish Historian Flavius Josephus, (93 A.D.) Antiquities, and Arabic text;
  • The Tablet of Nabopolasar recorded the fall of Nineveh as spoken of by the prophets Nahum and Zephaniah (2:13-15);
  • The Babylonian Chronicles recorded the fall of Jerusalem to Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar as stated in 2 Kings 24:10-14;
  • The Cyrus Cylinder recorded the freeing of captives in Babylon by Cyrus the Great as stated in Ezra 1:1; 6:3-4.

There is so much more evidence for the veracity of the Bible being the divinely inspired word of God. But rather than take our word for it, we encourage you to read the Bible for yourself.

Jesus died on the cross for your sins, and He rose from the grave. Trust in Him and you will be saved!
